【トルコ南東部における地震発生について】（2月10日追記）

2月6日におきたトルコでの大地震では、トルコとシリアにて大変多くの死傷者と甚大な被害が発生しました。まだ被害の全容は不明ですが、現地は厳冬下でもあり、さらなる被害の恐れと被災者のご苦労が偲ばれます。数々の震災を経験した日本にいて、被災者の無念と悲しみ、ご苦労を想うに沈痛の極みです。心よりのお見舞いと亡くなられた方のご冥福を、またこれ以上被害が拡大しませんよう、ご祈念申し上げます。

A major earthquake occurred in Turkey on February 6th, causing many casualties and significant damage in Turkey and Syria. The extent of the damage is still unknown, but the local area is also in the midst of winter, and there are fears of further damage and difficulties for the affected people. Being in Japan, which has experienced numerous earthquakes, we deeply sympathize with the victims’ feelings of sorrow and hardship. We offer our heartfelt condolences and pray that no further damage will occur and that peace be with those who have passed away.
